Tumblr was the most loved blogging platform on social media in 2011, according to Amplicate. 80% of social media opinions on the micro-blogging service were positive in 2011, making it far more popular than WordPress, Livejournal and Posterous.
Blogger ended the year the least loved blogging platform. 62% of opinions on the Google-powered platform were negative. Blogger users complained about problems posting and managing comments.
Tumblr users on the other hand loved sharing photos through the micro-blogging service and had few if any bad things to say about the platform.
Opinions on blogging platforms spread far and wide across social media in 2011. Amplicate found that social media opinions on the major blogging platforms had a potential audience of over 130m in 2011.
