Tumblr is the Most Loved Blogging Platform on Social Media

Tumblr takes number one while Blogger gets the bottom spot, according to Amplicate.com

NEW YORK, May 4 – Tumblr has been ranked the most loved blogging platform by overwhelming majority, while competitor Blogger (GOOG) has placed last in the Top 10.

Amplicate, an online opinion collating resource that accounts for more than 90 million public opinions of social media users, reports that there has been over 28 thousand positive Tumblr opinions expressed on Twitter, Facebook and Amplicate within the last 3 months.

Opinions on the blogging platform include comments on ease of use, simplicity of design and praise for the creative community. As one opinion stated, “Tumblr is fantastic because it is so easy to use. It is all about simple and effective expression. It’s beautiful. It’s totally customizable and rich in features…”

While some of the comments were negative, like those stating, “There’s no originality in this site…it’s full of hipsters, Bieber fans, idiots and narcissists,” the platform has a love rating of 82 percent.

Also among the Most Loved were WordPress, Posterous and Penzu, all scoring a love percentage of above 73 percent, leaving Blogger in the bottom spot with a love rating of only 49 percent.

Amplicate ranks the Top 10 Blogging Platforms compare against each other in terms of public love, reach and absolute number of opinions. The service also publishes rankings and real opinions for over 200 thousand topics.
